    Don Willesee, Chief Executive

    A Journalist by profession with an extensive career in Australian and overseas newspaper and television, Don has also worked in government and with not-for-profit organisations.

    Don worked as a public affairs consultant to CAF Australia since 2002 advising the organisation on its communications and marketing. In March 2009 he took up the created position of Director Project Development to help further direct and support CAF services.

    In July 2010 he was appointed Chief Executive of Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) Australia.

    Phillip Gardiner CPA, Chief Financial Officer

    Phillip, a qualified accountant, has a long career in the private sector in finance and management roles with such firms as CALTEX, Comalco Aluminium, and AMPEX.

    He spent 25 years as Finance Director and Managing Director of the Australian subsidiary of Ampex Corporation of California USA.

    Phillip has been involved in a voluntary capacity in community activities including junior baseball, rugby, and is a long time member of Surf Life Saving Australia.

    John Winkett, Business Development

    John, the former Deputy Chief Executive Officer, has an extensive background in marketing and communications in the private sector.

    For the last 25 years John has been working in the not-for-profit sector and has broad experience in developing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies

    John developed the very successful Timehelp Project - a training and volunteer program for Senior Citizens to work in schools, developed in partnership with the Alcoa Foundation, The Myer Foundation and three Local Councils in Australia. John also worked with BHP Billiton to develop a global Matched Giving Program.

    He is responsible for substantially developing CAF services in the Asia region after successfully establishing an office in Singapore to service CAF's Asian based clients.

    Donna Riley O'Neill, Client Relations Manager

    Since its inception in 2000, Donna has developed and managed CAF’s Workplace Giving and employer Matched Giving programs in Australia and overseas - working with local and global companies to establish workable solutions and effective Programs.

    Donna’s role with CAF has seen more than 250 corporate Workplace Giving programs collectively contributing over $5 million each year to the charitable sector in Australia (2009-10 financial year). 

    Online giving solutions, CAF systems management and development are also a large area of focus for Donna.  

    Lisa Grinham, Client Relations Manager 

    Lisa is a sales and marketing professional with over 20 years experience. During her corporate career Lisa worked for 3M, Optus and Aussie Home Loans. In 2002, Lisa established Sense Marketing where clients included Clayton Utz, Toyota, MLC, PKF and Gilbert + Tobin - developing marketing and corporate social responsibility strategies.

    As Client Relations Manager, Lisa’s role at CAF is to increase donor involvement in the charity sector, improve marketing communications and service delivery and increase the awareness of CAF’s full service offerings.

    Lisa holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing major) from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Certificate in Direct Marketing from the Australian Direct Marketing Association. Lisa is also Chairperson of Daystar Foundation, a charity operating in South West Sydney to deliver programs to encourage children and young people to engage with their education ultimately giving them better life choices.

    Sue Mackinnon, Grants Manager International

    Sue manages overseas projects which includes vital due diligence on recipient charities and donors involved with overseas grant making.

    Her extensive experience in Australia, Asia, and the United Kingdom of donor project design, implementation and evaluation, provides CAF clients with quality and proven management of funds.

    Sue has worked in Vietnam as Country Director for Voluntary Service Overseas, and later Regional Program Manager–South East Asia, for Save the Children Australia, overseeing the management of multi-million dollar projects in Cambodia and Vietnam.

    In Australia, Sue works extensively with organisations seeking tax-deductibility on donations for overseas aid projects in accordance with AusAID requirements, and providing project advice and support.

    Teresita Viskovich, Administration Manager

    Teresita is the Administrator of the CAF donor process and is the vital linchpin between donors, the administration of CAF services and the recipient charities.

    With over 20 years commercial administration,  revenue accounting and Commercial Agreements Management experience, Teresita provides CAF with corporate disciplines required to match modern business needs.

    A recipient of the QANTAS Customer Excellence Award, Teresita holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and an accreditation  in Commercial Law from Sydney University.
